EWP over 11m 

Boom type elevating work platforms (11 metre and over) require a Licence to Perform High Risk Work (category WP). Please note that this licence does not cover the holder for the operation of scissor lifts or vertical lifts.

 

Participants will be able to identify the safety requirements for operating Boom-Type Elevating Work Platforms and their working environments as well as being able to apply a working knowledge of the OH&S and regulatory requirements in accordance with WorkSafe standards.

This course requires the operator to:
•    Plan work.
•    Conduct routine checks.
•    Set up elevating work platform.
•    Operate elevating work platform.
•    Shut down and secure elevating work platform

TLILIC0005 – Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (over 11m)

Duration:

2 Days – 8 hours a Day + Self-paced at home learning

Onsite – subject to meeting Worksafe requirements 

Dress Requirements:

Preferred Hi visibility clothing, Safety shoes. (minimum enclosed shoes).

Entry Requirements:

  • All students must be over 18 years of age with Current photo I.D ( Passport and or Drivers Licence).

  • Students must reside in Victoria, or, if they are not a Victorian resident, have a valid reason for applying for their forklift licence in Victoria.

  • Can use the English language at a level that enables the safe performance of high risk work.

  • Participants are required to have general good health and fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the training must be disclosed prior to attending.

Outcome:

At the successful completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency, and an email from WorkSafe Victoria with a link to access a Notice of Assessment (which acts as a temporary licence for 60 days). Participants are required to lodge their Notice of Assessment on the WorkSafe portal or at Australia Post and pay the WorkSafe Licence fee within the 60 days to obtain an ongoing DG licence from WorkSafe.

Fees and Charges:

This course attracts a fee of $575.00 per participant and is GST exempt. These fees cover all training and assessment.

The full course fee must be paid PRIOR to starting date of the course.

 

 

SD Construction Training is recruiting on behalf of Go Workplace Training (RTO code: 22464). The students will be enrolled with Go Workplace Training for this course who will be responsible for training, assessment and issuing the Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of this course.
